Particle Decay and Relativity
By: Thomas Lee Abshier, ND
Cosmic rays produce high velocity muons as they strike the upper atmosphere. Muons
are a type of high-energy electron that would normally decay very quickly and not
reach the ground in their half-life before decaying. But, the half-life of a muon
increases dramatically when traveling near light speed. Such is the prediction of
the Theory of Relativity, and an observed experimental fact. This experiment has
in fact been used as one of the cornerstone proofs of Relativity.
The muon has a very small Kinetic Energy wavelength (i.e. de Broglie wavelength)
because of its extremely high velocity. This small wavelength of course corresponds
to the high amount of energy stored in the small volume. The kinetic energy field
of the particle causes the positive and negative DPs in the local space to create
a volume of densely/strongly ordered electrical and magnetic fields. This high kinetic
energy field thus creates an effective “stiffening” of the DP Sea by the high polarization
of the DPs. In other words, the conducting medium of the space occupied by the muon
has a higher and , which means the speed of light travels more slowly in that space.
This in turn causes a decrease in the transmission speed of communication within
the particle. And, this reduction in transmission speed in turn produces a reduced
rate at which the communication about the annihilation and reformation/relocation
of a new Central DP occurs. Thus, it will take longer for the occasional formation
of a Central DP outside of the bonds of the muon’s structure, which would then precipitate
the escape of a quantum of energy-order from the energy barrier of the muon.
Thus, the muon can maintain itself inside its allowable quantum boundaries and endure
intact without decaying for a greater length of time, according to the amount of
time elapsed by an observer in a less electromagnetically dense space. The same
probability of decay was acting for the muon in its high environment, it just took
more external clock ticks for that number of ticks to pass in the higher environment
and result in a decay, thus, the apparent validation of Relativistic time dilation.
The theme running through the conventional view of the Theory of Relativity is that
it is simply the relative velocity of the observer that causes the higher velocity
to alter the rate of passage of time, the apparent length, and amount of energy held
by the field. But, the Theory of Absolutes provides a more nuanced and mechanistic
explanation for the predicted phenomena.
In the Theory of Absolutes, the Relativistic effects are produced as a result of
a change in the electromagnetic properties of the space. The result of such alteration
in the properties of the conducting space is that clocks slow due to the reduced
process rates of the space that mediates the underlying cyclical processes by which
the markers of time are judged. The actual rate of the universal clock tick has
not changed, but the processes visible to human observation have changed. As a result,
all processes subject to mediation by space will slow down in an electromagnetically
stressed space. This is the reason for the slowing of biological rates as illustrated
by the hypothetical twin paradox (Two brothers, one stays on earth, one goes to Alpha
Centauri and back at the speed of light, and the brother on earth ages more than
the rocket man.) The reduction in the rate of decay of the muon has been examined
above; and we see how its high velocity alters its local environment, thus influencing
its rate of decay. And, as an added proof that it is the its and gravitational fields
bending photons as seen in the gravitational lensing of galaxies as seen in the Einstein
ring where a circle of light is seen around a closer galaxy, formed by photons coming
from a more distant galaxy. And finally, the reduction in the speed of light produced
by a photon crossing a photon, which is an additional illustrates that the polarization
of the space by matter, photonic energy, or gravity, changes the speed of light conduction
in that space.
In summary, it is not relative speed that produces the effects of time dilation,
mass accumulation etc., rather it is the change in the and due to the Absolute
speed of the particle. The rules of physics will still function in each of these
inertial frames, but they will function much slower in comparison to a frame traveling
at a lower absolute velocity.
