The distinction between Body, Soul, and Spirit: The body has three layers of substance
and consciousness. Each layer has its own purpose and specialization in terms of
structure, signal detection, information processing, and action.
- The Three layers of the Body Include:
o The Physical Body: Nerve receptor cells receive energetic collisions from the
physical world and convert that impact into electronic-nervous system codes that
carry information of various types for perception by the human consciousness. The
brain processes many types of signals in many ways and combinations, and presents
those signals to the soul for further evaluation. The spirit is the location of
real life and conscious awareness. The spirit perceives the processed information
and perceptions of the soul and mediates the information from earth with the directives
of its spiritual vision. The energies and their respective senses include: light
as sight, sound as hearing, molecular vapors as smell, dissolved molecules as taste,
and bulk mass as touch. The nervous system processes these signals and presents
them to the higher nerve centers of the brain, which are then perceived by soul,
and ultimately displayed and perceived by the human consciousness.
o The Soul: The layer of subtle physicality which forms as a result of the configuration
of the physical substance comprising the body. The soul transforms the signals of
the nervous system and forms a soul-level analogue of the molecular configuration
of the body. The soul passes the information perceived by the body onto the spirit
for cognition of awareness.
o The Spirit: This layer was created by God as a unique point of consciousness as
an eternally existent point of observation and accountability. This layer perceives
the signals and information from the soul, and responds in turn by directing the
soul and body. Thus, a response coming from the level of spirit, and to a lesser
extent the soul, can have a profound effect; even to the point of creating effects
that are actually miraculous.
- On the physical level, every interaction between particles, whether by touch, sight,
hearing, taste, or smell is mediated by reception of interactions between the Conscious
Particles. For example, touch is a sensation produced by the disturbance of cell
membrane polarization after mechanically contacting a touch receptor. And, at the
fundamental level of creation, all material interactions are mediated by messages
between conscious particles. Thus, every nerve stimuli, axonal transmission, brain
processing, and cortical projection of that stimulus to the soul, and the awareness
of that perception by the spirit is dependent ultimately upon the configuration of
the conscious particles that constitute the material world. The conscious particles
themselves carry no information specifically imprinted with the sensory data. But,
their size, configuration, and frequency stimulate the nervous system into creating
a coded analogue of the material world. The spirit is thus able to experience a
correlated, second-hand version of the universe of conscious particles. Thus, the
miracle of the nervous system, soul, and spirit is the ability to extract conformational
aspects of the physical universe, and perceive those properties at the level of conscious
awareness.
- On the level of the conscious particles, the touch receptor is composed of a very
large number of particles in a configuration that allows a resonant interaction with
the bulk masses of the universe. The various types of touch receptor cells provide
information about contact being made on a small area of the body. The brain receives
data from various types of touch-receptors throughout the body, and thus constructs
an analogue to the shape, size, texture, and weight information of the material world.
The brain then relays that processed sensory representation to the soul, and the
soul then sends information to the spirit.
- The soul may generate as an integral extension of the entirety of the structure and
function of the body. The communication that corresponds to metabolism, reproduction,
control system regulation, thought, and emotion is likewise included at least in
an analogical form in the soul. Thus, the separation of the body and soul may be
difficult in that the soul may generate from the structure and motion of the body.
- The spirit perceives projections of signals generated by the soul from:
o 1) the sense organs
o 2) the cognitive processes of the conscious mind
o 3) the subconscious mind
o 4) the emotional reactions and memory associations triggered by the lower body-plexus
nerve centers
- Thus, human sensation is ultimately the reception of a “Word”, a message spoken from
the environment to the listening of the nervous system. The nervous system then
translates those physical messages into the language of the soul where it is processed
and projected to the spirit for conscious awareness and subconscious processing.
- The physical Word contains messages from the reception of light, sound, touch, or
taste, composed from various organizations of Conscious Particle movement and configuration.
This information transformed into allegorical codes allows the nervous system to
carry data about the external world to brain centers. This data is fed to the non-material
soul, and ultimately perceived by spirit as a conscious awareness of the physical
universe. Thus, spirit perceives reality through the receptive sensory organs, and
the filtering and organizing processes of the nervous system. The spirit thus constructs
a model of reality without the direct experience of perception. While embodied,
the spirit does not have a direct perception of matter and fields. But, in the
hereafter, in the life after this life, we may perceive reality directly, and have
power over it. We may carry the soul and the lessons and character we have developed
in this life, but we will no doubt lose the flesh to the entropic degradation of
the grave.
- Since we do not directly perceive the messages emitted by the Conscious Particles,
our sensory perception mechanisms serve as intermediary sensors and indicators of
contact with various types of macroscopic/aggregate particle-based effects. The
particle-waves of light, the pressure waves of sound, the molecular shapes of taste
and smell, and the aggregate-matter shapes of touch all reflect types of information
about the underlying organization of matter. In effect, all sensation is a type
of 6th sense meta-perception. When we refer to a particular sensation, we actually
experience only an isolated interaction, an aspect of a large group of particles.
But, by isolating various aspects of the bulk universe, the senses provide data
about the state of the local physical universe that we can piece together to grasp
the nature of reality from many different perspectives. For the nervous system,
soul, and spirit to perceive reality, the universe must support the principles of
boundary and individuality. The separation of the conscious particles into localized
aggregates of concentration and rarification allows for the experience of localization,
separation, and thus relationship. And with the ability to obtain sensory data,
the ability to process it with consciousness, and the ability to respond with motive
force, it is possible to engage in a meaningful drama of survival, avoidance of pain,
and the pursuit of pleasure. The universe provides a broad spectrum of thermodynamic
environments from extreme high-energies to deep chill, thus providing the stage for
a wide range of settings in which to play out the drama of life.
- God has designed the world to disguise the fact that only He exists, that only His
mind fills all of space and time. The key to creating this appearance of separation
between the world of spirit and matter is our God-given ability to isolate local
concentrations of energy from the larger physical universe. The sensory system serves
as a buffer between the particulate messages and human consciousness. Each of the
sensory organs is resonant with a particular type of physical world interaction,
which the central nervous system must evaluate, prioritize, and elevate to the level
of consciousness or autonomic action. These processed signals may be viewed by our
soul-spirit and our own God-like conscious awareness. Thus, the nervous system serves
as a conduit to the brain for conversion to a macro-representation of numerous particulate
effects produced by and between the Conscious Particles.
- This model may account for the mystic experiences such as Astral Travel reported
by people having a Near Death Experience (NDE). The person coming close to death
sometimes reports seeing the body as an observer outside the body. When the spirit
is separated from the body, the physical world is perceived directly, rather than
through the filter of the nervous system. The Spirit can perceive the essence of
aggregate phenomenon such as light and sound directly, but normally we stand behind
the veil of the body and soul and perceive these particle configurations indirectly.
The sensory organs prevent us from experiencing and knowing the universe on all
levels by direct perception.
- God, man, and particles can communicate via direct spirit-to-spirit communication.
But while embodied, the human experience of consciousness and perception of the
physical world is largely relayed through many levels of nervous system processing
prior to its experience by the human spirit. Hence, the phenomena of direct experience
such as astral travel, precognition, and telepathy are considered unusual and even
fabrications of imagination. But, if these phenomena are real, as the preponderance
of anecdotal evidence indicates, it suggests that there is a layer of human experience
to which we are capable, but has been limited by design.
- Christians sometimes categorize all psychic phenomena as demonic. And it is certainly
true that experiences outside of the normal sensory and mental processes could be
used as a seduction to follow messages that oppose the Way of God. Thus, we must
be careful in our openness to the actual existence of such a realm, that we maintain
our moral vigilance to conduct ourselves according to the standards of Godliness
and worship of Him and His way, and remain wary of the seduction of spirits to false
teaching and temptations to please the flesh.
